  • Wyrd Byrd is an accumulation of this idea & inspiration: 

    • That we can connect over our efforts, our success, and failures to attempt building lives that we care to really live.

    • That it doesn’t need to look like the person next to us, and either path is necessary, valuable, worth observing & learning from. 

    I have often felt unrelatable in most groups. And, although relatability is a useful tool socially, if we want to build something new, sustainable, or with the intention to improve who, what, and where we are, not even just for “us/me” but for others to thrive too…

    Relatability only gets us so far. 

    Curiosity has gotten me further and helped me feel more in place, than out, many times in my life—

    Thankfully that is starting to outnumber the times and spaces that I have felt like an outsider.

    I’m equally thankful to have encountered other curious souls that have committed to deep friendships or intentional connections regardless of how different our lives look side by side. 

    We go deep here, because we believe that we actually belong, even when we don’t feel like it, yet, or ever. 

    My Friend, if you’re in this world. You belong here. Let’s build lives that we love to live.
