How to create a Links-page on your Squarespace Website.

I want to share one of my favorite hacks to save you some time and brain space (because remembering a million passwords is a pain!).

If you have a Squarespace website and are using a third-party like: "Link-Tree" or "milkshake", to add to your social media bios, which can be helpful-, why wouldn't you use your Squarespace website instead?

Use your Squarespace website to house a 'links-page'.

You can keep it on-brand AND control what is on the links-page, without paying for special features through a third party.

Ultimately, I want your links-page to be more effective than you ever thought it could be.

Here is what's on my links-page:

  • A collage with my tagline, a catching photo, and logo.

  • On-brand Buttons with each of my most important links.

  • A line-break, then a call to action to my inquiry form.

  • A short showcase of my recent website launches.

By designing my own links-page within my website, I can keep it on-brand and be in control of what is on it, without paying for special features.

I can also upsell or showcase anything that may be relevant to what my potential client may be looking for, directly on the links-page.

Hide your header + footer with an easy code:

Another detail that is SO EASY to add to your links-page, is that you can inject a code, that removes your static website header + footer so that the content of the links page is THE MAIN show!

Why is this a bonus? It solidifies the feel of using a third party, without using one.

This means you don't need to add another password to your list or pay for more features that are added to your page, without costing a dime from what you're already paying for the website hosting itself!

Here is the code to hide your header + footer, inject it into the Advanced section the page settings (watch the tutorial for how to inject it properly and remember to be careful when injecting code into your website!):

<style>.header, #footer-sections {display:none!important;}</style>
