5-Page Custom Squarespace Website

Yu’hop Studio is a hiphip studio in the Mat-Su Valley area of Alaska. Gracie, teaches HipHop foundations and styles to all ages of students, equipping them with technique, the history, and joy of HipHop dance.

Grace is also my amazing sister, I was so honored to create this website for her business! She wanted a clean, minimalist, playful design—I am so pleased with what we created!

About The Website

Home Page:

The purpose of the home page was to introduce Yu’hop Studio’s variety of classes, who she is, and where she teaches—while capturing the vibe of her classroom experience and culture.

The layout was strategically designed to fluidly guide the eye through the info, in a clean and minimalist structure. Yu’hop Studio presents professionally on this website but with a playful vibe through video and image movement.

Classes Page

This page is designed to not only cover the classes available but also provide the semester calendar for potential and current students to view, staying updated on class schedules and upcoming events! Great for the parents to know they can always check in if they lose the printed sheet or dates.

On this page, we linked the Cognito Form for signing up. I also coded and integrated Yu’hop Studios Google Calendar so she only needs to update it from one spot.

About Page

This page was so fun to create, I took clips of videos from Gracie dancing each style of HipHop and made them into active gifs, adding to the playful, yet, subtle movement across the website. This page showcases the purpose of Yu’hop Studio and Grace shares who she is and why she started it!

Contact Page

There are multiple places throughout the website for a potential student, or a student’s parent to contact Grace with questions or to sign up for a class. This page is a great landing spot to keep all of the contact options that in one place, along with directions to studio and class times.

Link-In-Bio Page

I highly recommend that if anyone has a website, they should be using it to create a unique Link-In-Bio page and ditch all of the third parties, Grace did that here.

For her 5th page, we created a dynamic Link-In-Bio page that she attached to across her social media. It contains all of the necessary links a potential student would need, as well as having the map and directions at the bottom for quick access to anyone who needs it.

The benefits of a page like this will naturally drive more traffic to the “website” helping it rank higher in Google searches. I used code to hide the header and footer, to give an exclusive feel when the link-in-bio page is visited.
