Spruce It Up Organizing

Website In A Week with Amazon Affiliate Shop + Acuity Scheduling

Meet Melanie, a lover of pink with a life-long passion for helping others to enjoy their living spaces and important life events, through professional organization! It was my honor to collaborate with her on this feminine and clean website for her business, Spruce It Up AK!

“I tried for several months to create a website on my own, and finally realized that I needed the help of a professional.

Annie was a delight to work withshe asked all the right questions, checked in regularly to ensure we continued to be on the same page, gave consistent updates, and was dedicated to creating a beautiful and functional website that I love.

The turn-around time was incredible, and I went from website frustration to website elation. Annie is worth every penny!”

Project Timeline: April 19, 22-25th, 2024!

(Yes, we spent only 5 days crafting her custom website!)

About The Website

Melanie needed a website that represented her organizing services with a clean layout, that would feel like a breath of fresh air to her ideal client—who may already be overwhelmed by their cluttered home, planning an event, or with a unique project that they just haven’t gotten to!

We accomplished this in two pages: A Home Page & Services Page, with the 3rd page being an Amazon affiliate shop, where she can easily add new products and make commissions straight from her website, by linking her Amazon ID!

The website itself was created in 5 days through my fast-paced, Website In A Week package! Here is the process:

On Day 1, we got on a kick-off call to set up her Squarespace account and website, start her chosen subscriptions, and transfer her domain, and go over her content that she sent me over the week leading up to the project!

The rest of the first day and Day 2 were spent defining the overall design, and essence, applying her branding, then we moved into laying out all of her pages and adding image content and written content (we refined the design through to the last day).

Days 3 & 4 were for setting up her basic SEO and mobile optimizing the design, as well as reviewing and adding more content as needed. I also began setting up Acuity Scheduling for her to book clients. We created unique forms to fit her services and personalized the Acuity look to fit her branding!

Day 5, we added the final touches, last last-minute content, and then I created and delivered her custom tutorial video that shows her how to manage, maintain, and use her scheduling platform, and how to add products or edit her website as needed!

At the end of the last day, we launched her website! 🎉

Amazon Affiliate Shop Connection + Set-up

Aside from her two main pages, we created the third page into an Amazon Affiliate shop page! I linked her website to her Amazon ID and then added 25 products of her choice, organizing them onto the page. I loved creating this for her, as it personalizes her Amazon shop, and serves as a great resource for clients, or anyone needing professional advice on organizing products to buy!

I love that this created an on-brand way for her to add passive income to her business!

Ask me about this service, when you inquire about your web design project!

Acuity Scheduling Set-Up & Personalization

Melanie added this to her Website In A Week package! I set up her Acuity Scheduling, by customizing her three appointment types with her branding, and personalizing it with adorable duckies at her request (call to action being: “Read to get all of your ducks in a row?”)! Customizing her scheduling also meant creating unique forms that acquired the information she needed from the client, depending on the service they are booking.

We love custom!

I love helping my business owners personalize their websites, even down to scheduling, because it helps create a consistent experience for their clients!
